Day 22: Thankful for the Church

Hey there!

Thanks again for stopping by 🙂

Hope you enjoyed your Zoom/YouTube/socially-distanced worship service today!

I just want to encourage you to take a moment and express gratitude for your local church and the global Church.

We are very quick to share and comment on posts that expose the many flaws of the Church but if we’re to be fair, we’ll acknowledge that the Church has played a vital role in the development of many societies and also the building up of our personal lives. Let’s face it, we are the Church and we are all responsible for the health of the body of Christ.

So, today, join me in intentionally giving thanks for the Church – its leaders and the laity – and how God has been able to use our efforts at preaching/evangelism even to expand His Kingdom here on earth.

The Church ain’t perfect, but trust me, God isn’t done with us yet.

P.S. Take time to pray for your local Pastor and his family today. Pray for grace to be faithful, loyal and steadfast. It’s not an easy job, the least we can do is to pray for them and thank God for them.

Prayer of Thanksgiving

Father, thank You for Your precious bride which You redeemed by the blood of Your Son. Thank You because despite our many flaws, You’re not done with us yet.
