Day 20: Grateful for My Identity in Christ

I was listening to one of Myles Munroe’s teachings and he was talking about the fact that only a manufacturer can really determine the true identity of a product. In other words, only what God (your Creator) says about you is valid; everybody else’s opinion should be taken with a pinch of salt because, frankly, they don’t know you!

“But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a dedicated nation, [God’s] own purchased, special people…” 1Peter 2:9

Here’s what God, your manufacturer, says about you:

You are chosen, not forsaken.

You are redeemed; your sins have been drowned in the sea of forgetfulness.

You are adopted into His family.

You are loved unconditionally.

You are righteous.

You are worth the blood of His only Son.

You are engraved in the palm of His hands.

You can do ALL things through Christ.

You matter to God.

All that good stuff and we didn’t even have to pay a penny for it! Lord, we are GRATEFUL!

Prayer of Thanksgiving

Father, thank You for who You say I am in Christ. Thank You because in Christ, I am loved, redeemed and chosen. I am free from the opinion of men.
